The work of Anglicare is not only to solve the immediate problems people are meeting from day to day, but also to help people to take control of their lives again. Anglicare helps people to discover their own strengths and their own solutions, giving them real hope.
Anglicare SA has a long history of collaborative and cooperative working relationships with other community service organisation, private enterprise and Local, State and Federal Governments. Anglicare has a rich history of collaboration through formal agreements governing multi agency service initiatives which leverage the respectively expertise of multiple parties.

Migrant Resource Centre SA provides continuum of services to families of refugee background and that are activated immediately upon their arrival to South Australia and normally extended throughout their first five years of settlement. MRCSA focus on early assessment and intervention. Family coping skills and resilience are furthered strengthened through links with community and other specialist support systems.

Families in Focus Aims to increase and build on the individuals and communities knowledge’s and awareness of parenting, community resources, improve the understanding of how we act in relationships and family by;
• Working with couples around resilience and relationship issues.
• Dealing with conflict in the family, by developing problem solving strategies for families and couples in conflict.
• Supporting people to access community resources and support.
• Working with organisations to address issues in their changing workforce and the impact on the individual
• Problem solving strategies for families and couples in conflict
• Working with men on issues that matter to them
What will these services cost?
Services for Families in Focus Anglicare SA; Counsellor and Men’s Worker services will incur a minimal fee..
Health Care Card Holders can request a lower payment on presentation of card.
Family and Relationship Education and Skill Development programs are fee based depending on the nature of the program, please call for a more specific quote.
Services for Families in Focus Migrant Resource Centre SA are free for newly arrived migrant individuals and families.
The Early Intervention Services partnership between Anglicare SA and MRCSA is funded by Families and Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FACSIA)
